A recent effort at DISH was to design the controls and settings for nest system notifications. Working with product management and engineers, we modelled our screens after already-existing settings for the UI for consistency and to simplify the experience for the users. This section of the UI gave the user individual controls over the notification they would receive on the Hopper from each of their nest devices. These devices include: Indoor cameras, Outdoor cameras, and doorbell sensors. Each device was matched with an image based on the device model number. It also allowed the user to choose what camera would display with the notification.
